  • It was a last minute decision when we decided to go to Ayutthaya and we looked for where to eat, we found The Artisans. We made a reservations via Line and they confirmed right away. When we got there, they took our order first and then they had us seated. We wanted to sit by the river but they said it is too hot outside so we just obeyed. We ordered the wagyu curry with fan leaves (I wasnt sure what that was until I googled it is cannabis) and the shrimp salad. Both were a little spicy for our liking but we couldn’t do anything about it since we already ordered, I guess we should have asked while ordering. Both of which is good. For dessert, we just want mango sticky rice. The sticky rice was warm and the mango is ripe. For the price point, we would appreciate a little more conversation about what we ordered and not just putting it on the table. When we checked out, the seats outside as we were walking out, we saw some people sitting there. Would have been nice to have that option, we really wanted to sit outside. Aesthetic of the place is stunning. The plates and food presentation is instagrammable. Flavor wise, it was flavorful but the heat of the food took away the flavor and all we can taste is the heat.

  • A beautifully designed restaurant with very unique architecture. It’s best to make a reservation 2 days before if you'd like to order their signature course, or same-day reservation for a la carte. Their signature clay pot rice is a must-try. The service is excellent and met my expectation. You need to check in and order at the front desk first, then the staff will take you to your table. You can also watch how the traditional clay pot rice is cooked. If you order the clay pot rice, it comes with a rice water set. The staff explain the background of the dishes, and the rice is served with traditional side dishes. If you enjoy architecture and food with a story behind it, this place is definitely worth visiting at least once.

  • Need to choose your dishes at the front desk before sitting down. I didn’t understand why. I should be able to walk through the seating area, sit down, and take my time to choose my items. However, the receptionist was helpful to explain the dishes. The food itself was great. The pork curry and the grilled river prawns are a must. Excellent service and they explained how to eat some of the dishes. I admire how they are bringing an ancient thai culinary experience.

  • The artisanal name of the restaurant, which is reflected in its beautiful architecture design, creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant has many small sections that can accommodate two tables, making it ideal for intimate private dining. At the receptionist, you can order your menu first. The welcome drink roselle drink is refreshing to build your appetite. The finishing pineapple drink and guava is nice to cleanse the palate The food presentation is visually appealing. The stir-fry with flowers and crab is a delightful dish with a perfect balance of flavors and spiciness. The succulent and fresh crab meat is a highlight. The salad has a western twist but is a nice combination of flavors. The green curry is equally impressive, with a great flavor and a perfect balance of curry. The fish in the curry is perfectly made with no bones, just the soft and tender meat. The soup is spicy and sour with the right amount of heat, and the fish is incredibly soft and perfectly cut. While the prices may not be the cheapest for Thai food standards, the ambiance and quality of the food make it a worthwhile visit. Service is excellent, restaurant that knows to serve

  • A lovely restaurant situated by the Chao Phraya river. Utilizing many locally sourced ingredients, the Artisans offered a memorable dining experience. I particularly enjoyed Tom Som Pla Ma with its delicate taste that was not overpowering. My only complaint was the soup was taken away before i had the chance to finish.

  • Nothing was disappointing. Every dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The attention to detail, from the fresh ingredients to the stunning plating, made the whole experience feel truly special. Definitely worth the value.

  • This place has excellent service, and a cosy vibe. Food was generally good except the chicken massamam which was too sweet. Only giving a 4* because of the odd concept where we have to order at the reception instead of at the table. Guests would feel more welcomed if we are allowed to settle down at our tables first before ordering the food.

  • Loved this place! I stopped by Artisan Ayutthaya during my trip and totally fell in love with the vibe. The space is beautiful calm, stylish, and perfect for chilling after exploring the city. The food was amazing, well balanced, and they were so fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming too. Definitely one of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in Ayutthaya. Can’t wait to come back.
